Think about Thai food, Think about Nawamin!
Growing up in a very traditional Thai household, it would be custom for the mother to pass on her cooking knowledge to her daughter. However, Nawamin one of three boys and was the only one to find a love for cooking.
His grandmother is his greatest cooking influence. He lived with her for a few years and that when he fell in love with cooking and thought the kitchen was a playground.
One day he hopes to open a charity restaurant where the funds would help those who can’t afford medical care in Thailand.
He went to a medical school in my hometown, Hat Yai. It was the same hospital that I was born. After graduated, He got a scholarship to study in the UK. He did my Master in Immunology at Imperial College London. Currently, He is in the last year of my DPhil, trying to invent a vaccines for Tuberculosis.
